Volunteers were represented from the Arlington Food Assistance Center, AHC Inc, Arlington Police Department, Arlington Fire Department, Busboys and Poets, Hyatt Regency at Crystal City, Arlington Federal Credit Union, Georgetown University, Marymount University, Northern Virginia Community College and numerous businesses from all across Arlington. Students and volunteers alike were actively engaged throughout the morning, with many students trying their hand at networking with volunteers after the event.
Each student heard from volunteer speakers about their education and career paths, career changes and strategies for making transitions between high school and college, and eventually entering the work force.
